David Sharp

Financial Controller

David is the Financial Controller at Repak Ltd, having held various positions within the organisation since he joined in 2006, including Finance Manager for the Recovery and Recycling Department.

David holds an honours degree in Accountancy and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts (FCA). He also holds a Diploma in Forensic Accounting and a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards.

During his time as Finance Manager, David successfully managed a significant increase in the overall tonnes sent for Recovery and Recycling to over 1 million tonnes per year and also increased the funding of the Recovery and Recycling industry to over €25 million per year.

David plays a key role in managing all financial aspects of Repak and works closely with key stakeholders to ensure Repak delivers and exceeds national recycling targets.
