Effective colour-coding system in place for waste receptacles
Effective colour-coding system in place for waste receptacles
Blenders is committed to environmental responsibility, aligning with the EU Single Use Plastics Directive. They have implemented an effective color-coding system for waste receptacles, ensuring staff awareness and participation. Furthermore, a significant change has been made by transitioning squeezy bottle plastic lids from non-recyclable multi-polymer to a single polymer recyclable design. In addition, they are actively engaged in discussions with suppliers to enhance the use of recycled content safely. Lastly, they continue their commendable effort of diverting all edible surplus products from waste by redirecting them to local charitable partners, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to sustainability and community support.
