33% of Irish Public Plan to Buy Fewer Christmas Gifts in Eco-Shift

Our new research revealed that that the Irish public will be more eco-conscious this Christmas. Almost 1 in 3 (30%) adults in Ireland are going to upcycle items to gift to a loved one and a similar amount (33%) will buy gifts that can have a second life to ensure that they last longer.

The event held at The Shelbourne Hotel, brought together leaders from across Ireland’s business, environmental, and community sectors to celebrate the positive impact of environmental initiatives all across Ireland.

2025 Repak Resource Awards Finalists Announced

This year, twelve winners will be announced at a ceremony at The Shelbourne Hotel on Thursday, 23 October 2025. Finalists this year include Dairygold Co-Operative Society, Meath Camogie, Rubbish Film Festival, An Post and the Paint Reuse Network.
