Repak launches ‘Team Green for Schools’ competition

Repak has launched a recycling quiz and word search competition today on Facebook and Instagram, inviting children to complete either activity sheet from its Team Green for Schools Primary School programme. Enter now and you could win a €100 Smyths voucher. As homeschooling continues for the foreseeable few weeks, this is a great opportunity to teach children about the importance of recycling, while having fun with our schools’ characters, Bobby the box, Cormac the can, Bridget the bottle and Jenny the jam jar.

Enter our Team Green for Schools quiz and wordsearch competition

We have launched a two week social competition, asking children to complete a wordsearch or recycling quiz from our Team Green for Schools Primary School programme. There are five €100 Smyths gift cards up for grabs as part of the competition.

The Waste Action Plan for a Circular Economy

The Waste Action Plan for a Circular Economy was published by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications on the 4th of September 2020. This policy document fulfils the commitment in the Programme for Government to implement a new National Waste Action Plan. This new national waste policy will inform and provide direction to future waste infrastructure and management in Ireland. Repak supports this transition as we continue to educate and provide our Members with avenues and opportunities to increase the sustainability of their packaging.

Circular economy systems: keep the added value in products for as long as possible and aim to eliminate waste and keep resources within the economy when a product has reached the end of its life, so that they can be productively used again and again and hence create further value.
