In addition, 58% agree that recovery operators such as Panda are right to put cameras in bins to determine who the waste contamination culprits are.

The Pakman Awards recognise outstanding work in recycling, energy and waste management by any business, organisation or community group. Meade Potato awarded the 2016 Pakman Award for its proactive sustainability efforts and efficient channeling of food streams to the appropriate markets. Allied Irish Bank, Aldi, Rehab Glassco, Dun Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council, Panda, SMILE Resource Exchange, University College Cork and Recreate Ireland were also amongst the winners.
