Reduced 5.2 tonnes of plastic packaging waste

Reduced 5.2 tonnes of plastic packaging waste

The company has made significant strides in waste reduction and recycling. They've avoided or reduced 5.2 tonnes of plastic packaging waste. Through meticulous waste segregation practices, an impressive 98% of generated waste is directed to recycling channels. Additionally, they've transitioned their MAP trays for a major customer to contain up to 90% recycled content. Most of their packing trays, ranging from 70% to 90% in composition, are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable themselves. Furthermore, any packaging changes aimed at improving recyclability undergo rigorous testing to ensure they do not compromise shelf life, and in some cases, even extend it. These efforts reflect their strong commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.
